Class Description

It takes a lot of study to become a certified "Spin Doctor," but you and a friend can get your hands and maybe your pants dirty at a fun night out with your favorite person. Enjoy a beverage and while you take a spin at the wheel, we are a byob studio. This workshop is approximately 1.5-2 hours and is PERFECT if you have been on the fence about committing to a multi week course and you want to try it out, and also is a GREAT gift for a friend, co-worker, couple, or you and your bestie! Morgan, our instructor will guide you through the steps! THERE ARE NO REFUNDS AND WE DO NOT RESCHEDULE FOR THIS CLASS. IF YOU MISS IT YOU WILL NEED TO REBOOK IT. No refunds or credits will be given to anyone arriving once class has started. NO EXCEPTIONS! Firing your piece is NOT included in the $40 price - This is a true TRY IT DATE NIGHT Class. You can make as many pieces as you like in the allotted time - There is a $20 firing/glazing fee for EACH piece you decide to keep. This fee includes firing to bisque, return visit to glaze using our low to mid fire glazes, and the glaze firing. Clay must have plenty of time to dry slowly which takes approximately 7 to 10 days for pieces to dry then another 3 days for firing. Your Project will be ready to glaze in approximately 2 weeks to glaze your piece. If you would like us to glaze your piece for you using our professional stoneware glazes there is an EXTRA $5.00 PER PIECE glazing fee, and you will need to pick your glaze(1 glaze color per piece) at end of class. All pots are held for 30 days after bisque firing - NO EXCEPTIONS Want to keep more than one piece? One is $20 2/$35 3/$50 4 or more is $10 each. Studio glaze fee is still $5.00 per piece. If you have more than 5 people for your group, please contact us for a private Sip n’ Spin date night party! Class size is limited, so only those registered can attend. Ages 18 and up for our date night classes. Class is approximately 1.5 -2 hours long. If you are looking for a series of classes, we also offer 6 week pottery wheel classes at the studio, in addition to studio memberships. Participants are asked to arrive 15 minutes early to get settled, select your wheel, put on an apron and pour yourself a beverage if you brought one. Please note: If you arrive after the class starts, you will NOT be able to attend the class, as we have already started and it is not fair to make the rest of the participants wait to catch you up.
